Soft Lip Envy

So,  you all know the best way to make sure your face beat is off to a great start… my personal fave… LIPS.  I was in the store and saw this cute little clear and turquoise cube shaped lip protestant!! It was just calling me as I saw all the pretty selections. There were

I chose the turquoise of course, because I mentioned that already and because turquoise is my favorite color and mint is just one of favorites. I love mint ice cream, mint peppermint patties, and mint cookies.   I have tons of mint colored shirts, pants, purses,  nail polish,  and shoes. So,  you get the point lol!!

Now, for those of you that don't love mint as much as I do. Here are some great reasons why I loved it. My lips were moisturized. I don't know about you guys but sometimes when you have dead skin on your lips and you wear lip gloss or chapstick,  your lips get a white line on the inner lower and upper lips . We all loved the EOS packaging right? Yes, because it is round, cute colored, and just different from every other lip balm because of the shape. Everything inside was almost the same. Soft lips took it a little further with the small,  cube shape with a glassy shiny bottle. Then its added benefits are 5 in 1 hydrating,  replenishing,  smoothing, protecting,  and shining. It has skin protectants and SPF 15, which is important. You can pair this with your favorite lip gloss or colored lipstick,  but I like to put it on before bed after the shower and I wake up to nice soft lips with no dryness or dead skin. You be the judge and go get your own because this will definitely be in my makeup bag.

Lip Envy Review

The RESULTS ARE IN!! 

So, I finally was able to find the lip exfoliator by E.L.F. and it was fairly inexpensive for a frugal person such as myself.  It was $3.04 plus tax at Target. I guess it must be a huge hit because I tries a few stores and it was out of stock and I was almost tempted to buy the lip exfoliator by Shea Moisture. But of course that would defeat the purpose of my product review.

Before I begin,  I would like to say I apologize for taking a while to get back to you guys. It has been a busy month for me as I have a lot of good things in the works and starting a multi-faceted blog is one of them.  My hope is that this can be a one stop shop for your beauty and fashion needs, and well, a door into my LIFE. I enjoy talking sometimes so this a great outlet for me and I hope you all enjoy it.

Here's a pic of the packaging. It was very simple and to the point. It gives a description of what color the exfoliator would be when you apply it and a pic of what the exfoliator stick would look like when you open it. What I did like is that it was at my local store. I like to shop online but not for my commodity needs all the time. Some things that I need to "freshen" myself up I like for it to be right at my fingertips, a quick store run and I'm done!

All you have to do is is wash your face and towel dry it.  Then you put the exfoliator  on your lips like lipstick.  Then you take your fingertip and rob it in for about a minute then you rinse the exfoliator  off then you're on your way to soft lips.  Three times a week and you will notice the differenece.

So, as I travel this road to discovering who I am beyond being a mom,  this product is the first step to my updated makeup bag. I REALLY LIKE this product and it makes me believe that everything doesn't have to be expensive to be good for your skin. So,  join me on my journey  to staying young,  responsible and fabulous!!  Thirty is the new 20 and when I turn 30 I know I'll be ENVIED!!

Lip Envy

It was a nice day today don't you think?  Not too hot,  not too cold…. PERFECT!!  But what I did notice that even with the nice weather my lips still felt a little chapped around the outer edges.  Well, let's just say if you know me then you know I Ain't GOIN!!

I am known for my soft kissable lips… at least that's what guys I've dated have told me. Shoot if I wasn't me,  then I'd kiss me lol! I have nice full lips with a nice color,  kissable color and fullness. So,  I headed straight to my phone and started Googling… of course my man is watching my every move wondering who I am texting so vigorously. Of course him not knowing my lips are screaming dehydration all I wanted was some answers as to what I can do to fix my dilemma in any temperature.

Let him squirm lol while I find what I hope to be a solution. I ran across something different that I have heard of but haven't really heard any chatter from the ladies about it being something to die for,  and that was a lip exfoliator by E.L.F. I so love their brand of good quality products for a practical price.  With me being a supermom of 4 beautiful children with a full time job,  practical is more often than not my first choice.  I mean that only makes sense when your priorities are in check of course.
